Wearing G7

Written by Carmen Bronsch | May 29, 2019

Blackline recommends wearing G7 in one of two places for the most accurate gas reading and safety detection: clipped to your chest or your hip.

CHEST

Clipping G7 to your chest pocket monitors gases within your breathing zone. Wearing on your chest is recommended if you are using push-to-talk, to make G7 more accessible.

HIP

Wearing G7 on your hip is also adequate for monitoring your safety. This location is recommended if you are using fall detection, as this placement detects less false falls.
