On October 21, 2024, we will be updating event names in Blackline Live.
Events that previously had “gas” or “gas sensors” in their names will be renamed to more generic “sensor” events. These events display mostly in Blackline Analytics reports, the Alert and Notification profiles, on Alert management pages, and in the Device History logs.
This change will help you more clearly identify how Blackline Live events relate to device events, and to prepare Blackline Live for readings from our new EXO 8 Gamma device, available in December 2024. There are no changes to the way you will access your sensor readings and work with the information, but if you have an EXO 8 Gamma, its readings will display and be reported on alongside your existing gas sensor readings.
