We are excited to announce that we are updating our three Essential email reports:
We are transitioning the email reports to a new format, offering a refreshed, consistent design across all three reports. The updated reports will begin arriving in your inbox by September 10, 2025.
As part of this change, the reports are now being sent from a new email address: reports@blacklinesafety.com. To avoid any disruption, please ask your IT team to add this address to your organization’s trusted senders list.
We are updating the names of each page in the Usage report to more clearly describe the data they contain, making it easier to find and understand the insights you need. The updated page names are:
We are adding new insights to the first page of the report to provide you with a high-level summary and key metrics from the report. The new insights are: Total usage, average daily use, and devices not used insights. The devices used insight is also being updated to now compare the number of devices used to the total number of devices.
The High Gas Exposures report is being renamed to the High Gas Events report. In addition, color is being applied to the High Gas Events by Type chart to help you differentiate the events.
The conditional formatting color is being updated in the Total column to improve readability, help you quickly identify key values, and spot patterns.
The table columns are being reordered to show sensor reading details earlier in the table, making it easier to quickly interpret the key details and understand the nature of each event.
We are adding a new Users with Alerts insight on the first page of the Alerts report, which compares the number of users with alerts to the total number of users. This insight gives you a clearer picture of how many users are affected, helping you gauge whether the number of alerts is broadly impacting your team or limited to a few individuals.
Conditional formatting color is being added to the Total column to improve readability, help you quickly identify key values, and spot patterns.
We are adding median times to each chart on the Alert Response Times page, giving you a clearer picture of typical response performance.
The Alert Duration chart is being updated to a line chart, which uses dots to indicate the point in time when the stage changed. Each dot color used in the chart corresponds with an alert stage in the Alert Stage table.
The Total row is being removed from the table and the Time Elapsed column now displays a running total of the alert duration.
