New Cartridge F2 Coming May 1, 2025

Blackline Safety will begin shipping our new Cartridge F2 for diffusion devices starting May 1, 2025. This update follows our certification on a new performance standard for LEL sensors. Your device behavior will remain unchanged when using the new cartridge and you will notnotice any differences in day-to-day operation as long as your firmware is up to date.

Important Information

• G7 and EXO 8 diffusion devices shipping after May 1, 2025 will include Cartridge F2.
• Pumped device variants will transition to the new cartridge in the coming months.
• Replacement cartridges will gradually transition from legacy cartridges to Cartridge F2 as legacy supply depletes.

Device Compatibility Requirements

Your device must be running the following minimum firmware version to work with Cartridge F2:

• G7c: version 3.501 or higher
• G7x & Bridge: version 3.501 or higher
• G7 EXO: version 3.501 or higher
• EXO 8: version 4.0 or higher

You can check your current firmware version by following these instructions.

Note for G7 3G Device Owners

G7 3G devices (with IDs starting with 3566, 3567, 3568, or 3569) are not compatible with firmware 3.501 and must be upgraded. Please contact Technical Support or your Client Success Manager for assistance.
