How do I know if my Loner 900 is connected to Loner Bridge?
Check your Loner 900 SureSafe™ indicator light.
The SureSafe light on the Loner 900 indicates connection with the Blackline Safety Network.
SureSafe Light is solid green
When the SureSafe light is solid green, Loner 900 able communicate with Loner Bridge, Blackline Safety Network and Safety Monitoring.
SureSafe Light is blinking or off
When the SureSafe light is blinking or off, Loner 900 is unable to communicate with Loner Bridge, Blackline Safety Network and Safety Monitoring.
Check Your Loner Bridge LCD display. The Loner Bridge LCD display indicates how many Loner 900’s are connected to Loner Bridge.

Range by Terrain
The range between Loner 900 and Loner Bridge differs depending on the terrain it is being used in.
My Loner 900 SureSafe light is blinking
A blinking SureSafe light indicates that you have lost connection to your Loner Bridge. Navigate closer to the Bridge until the SureSafe light becomes solid green.
DO NOT turn Loner 900 off when you are out of range
Turning off your Loner 900 when you’re out of range can cause a missed check-in alert. This is because Loner Bridge cannot communicate to the Blackline Safety Network that you have turned off your device.

How do I know if my Loner Bridge is connected to the Blackline Safety Network?
Check your Loner Bridge LCD display
Check the LCD display on your Loner Bridge to ensure you are connected to either a cellular or satellite network.
Ensure Loner Bridge always has a clear line of sight to the sky
AVOID parking in underground parking or beneath solid coverage
AVOID parking underneath thick foliage and tree cover

How do I disconnect my Loner 900 and Loner Bridge from the Blackline Safety Network?
Turn off Loner 900
Press and hold power button for 3 seconds while device goes into shutdown sequence. Wait until the SureSafe light goes off.
Turn off Loner Bridge
Press and hold power button for 3 seconds while device goes into shutdown sequence.
If Loner Bridge is connected to power, it does not need to be turned off
DO NOT power down Loner Bridge before powering down Loner 900
If Loner Bridge is powered down before Loner 900, real time monitoring will stop for all connected Loner 900 devices. Since the Loner 900 device(s) will still be logged into the Blackline Safety Network, a missed check-in alert may occur.
