Replacing G6’s Screen Protector

This article describes how to replace the screen protector on your G6 device.

 The G6 screen protector (ACC-G6-SP) helps prevent superficial scratches and cracks. It also reduces glare, making the screen easier to read in bright environments.

To replace G6’s screen protector

1. Pry up a corner of the damaged screen protector and gently pull to remove it.
   NOTE: Start with a loose corner if possible. Use your fingernail or a wooden toothpick to avoid damaging the screen.

2. Clean G6’s screen with a clean, lint-free, and dye-free microfiber cloth and screen cleaner.
   IMPORTANT: Use an alcohol and ammonia- free cleaning solution to avoid damaging G6’s screen.

3. Peel the film from the sticky side of the new screen protector.
4. Align the new screen protector with the edges of G6’s screen.
5. Place the screen protector on G6’s screen, starting on one side and slowly moving across it.
6. Smooth out any air bubbles between the screen and protector using the included installation card. Start at the center of the screen and push bubbles out toward the edges.
