G7x Device Issue After Firmware Update 3.501

We have identified a technical issue that may affect a small number of G7x devices following the recent 3.501 firmware update.

Affected Devices

  • G7x (original version 3973*/3974*) equipped with a current generation cartridge (cartridge ID 88570 or lower)

Symptoms

After installing firmware version 3.501 and restarting, impacted devices may:

  • Display a message stating: Firmware successfully updated to 3.501R1.
  • Show an ‘X’ on all sensor readings and enter an alarm state

If your device matches the criteria above and displays these symptoms, a replacement cartridge is required. Please contact Technical Support to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for a replacement.
