What’s New in the October 2025 EXO 8 Update

We are pleased to announce that the October 2025 EXO 8 update will be available on October 20, 2025. The update includes:
- Global firmware version 4.2
- Gas Expansion Module functionality
GAS EXPANSION MODULE FUNCTIONALITY
The October 2025 update includes the framework required for the Gas Expansion Module to operate when installed in EXO 8 and EXO 8 Gamma devices. The Gas Expansion Module enables EXO 8 to detect up to eight gases plus gamma radiation, providing greater protection for teams during rapid incident response and in high-risk environments.
