Known Issue with Loner Mobile App Version 2.0.0
July 23, 2025
We’ve identified an issue in the latest version of the Loner Mobile app (v2.0.0) that may affect users who use the Check-in on GPS motion and/or No motion settings. In some situations, the app may not correctly interpret detected speed, which can trigger false alert notifications.
Our team has diagnosed the issue and is actively working on a fix. We’ll provide our next update within 5 business days to keep you informed of our progress.
Until the fix is available, we recommend the following workarounds:
- Manually check in before traveling to reset the timer and avoid false alerts.
- Disable check-in alerts if your travel time is expected to exceed the 240-minute timer.
- Temporarily disable the No motion alert while in transit.
If you use these features and haven’t yet updated to version 2.0.0, you may opt to wait until the fix is available. For more information on accessing these screens in Loner Mobile, see the Loner Mobile Getting Started Guide.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Technical Support team.
